How do I prepare before my appointment?
  • Shower, shave, and exfoliate the day before or morning of your tan.
  • Avoid oil-based scrubs/soaps and skip moisturizer before your session.
  • Book waxing, manicures, pedicures before your tan.
  • Wear dark, loose clothing and sandals/thongs to your appointment.
What happens during the appointment?
  • Attire: Women may wear underwear, a disposable thong, or go nude; Men wear boxers/briefs/swim trunks.
  • Customization & contouring to your skin tone and desired depth for a natural, slimming effect.
  • Express: shower after 2–4 hours. Standard: shower after 6–8 hours. Same longevity & depth potential.
Aftercare & how long it lasts
  • Avoid showering/sweating/swimming until your development time is complete.
  • Longevity: 7–14 days depending on skin and aftercare.
  • Moisturize daily with a paraben-free product (Bare Tan Extending Moisturizer recommended) for even fade & longer wear.
  • Avoid chlorinated pools and steam rooms when possible.
  • Wait for 3 showers before wearing white, especially if sweating or swimming.
  • Formula is smell-free — you can go back to work/events right away.
Will it look natural on fair skin? Will I turn orange or get streaks?
  • Yes — we blend to your undertone; sugar-based DHA avoids orange hues.
  • Highly trained airbrush techs apply for an even, streak-free finish.
  • First time? We can start lighter and build from there.
What should I wear to and during my appointment?
  • To your session: dark, loose clothing and sandals/thongs.
  • During the session: Women — underwear, disposable thong, or nude; Men — boxers/briefs/swim trunks.
Is Bare Tan safe during pregnancy?

We’ve safely tanned many pregnant clients, but please consult your doctor first.
